Ciaran Murphy-Royal

Ciaran is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab funded in part by Campus Alberta Neuroscience. He completed his Ph.D. at Université de Bordeaux under the supervision of Drs. Stephane Oliet and Laurent Groc, where he studied trafficking of glial glutamate transporters. Ciaran is currently investigating the role of these transporters in controlling heterosynaptic signalling in the hypothalamus during stress.
